Hola. Soy Eduardo, tengo 59 años y vivo en Las Palmas. Quiero unirme a un grupo para hablar Inglés o Portugués, y también estoy dispuesto a efectuar un intercambio con alguien cuyo idioma nativo sea el Inglés. Estoy disponible desde esta fecha y este verano dispondré de mucho tiempo para practicar.
Hi. My name is Eduardo, I am 59 and I live in Las Palmas. I"d like to join a group for speaking English or Portuguese, and I am also willing to make a language exchange with someone whose native language is English. I am available from now, and this summer I will have a lot of time to practice.
Mar Hola Eduardo. Are you familiar with our language exchange English/Spanish group that meets on Thursdays at 7 p.m. in front of the cafeteria The Couple, almost next door to Hotel Reina Isabel? I-m browsing the site in order to find more native or advanced English speakers to join as during the summer months many expats go for holidays, but speakers of all levels are warmly welcome. Eduardo57 Hello, Mar. Thanks for the invitation but sadly I-m not able to go on Thursdays (I had been invited there before). I-m used to go some times to the language exchange English/Spanish group that meets at 100 Montaditos (CC El Muelle) four days a week.
I read your profile and it reminds me of someone who recently invited me to the meetings in front of The Couple, and whom I met in 100 Montaditos, but I can-t see your face in the photo. I-ll ask you something: are you Marjo?

Mar Si Eduardo, te conozco. Que pena, hay muchas actividades los jueves pero los otros dias me parecen lo mismo. Por ejemplo los miercoles los partidos de futbol etc .... :)

Eduardo57 Gracias, Ayeiza. Yo solía ir los jueves de 7 a 9 pm a La Quinta 71, en el 71 de Lomo San Lázaro, Sietepalmas (con la profesora Norma Giordani), pero a esa hora tengo un compromiso y dejé de ir. Desde hace más de 2 años asisto a las reuniones frente a 100 Montaditos del CC El Muelle.
